Just like people, the bigger and older we get, the easier we will get things from the environment, in this case, having a freshwater pearl grow to a huge size and still meet extremely demanding standard of quality is very very rare and therefore relatively expensive.

These are AAAA graded southsea shell pearls which are perfect round shape with high luster. They are drilled half of the depth for making pearl rings, pearl earrings and pearl pendants.
