For making a pearl power bracelet; you will require thick elastic cord, pearls and one large pearl with large hole or different bead with three holes. You just require simple scissors to make this bracelet. Make sure that cord fits through the pearls. You can use pearls of your choice, but for making bracelets, usually 8mm pearls are used.

Now cut the piece of cord that is the length of finished bracelet and leave out an additional 4 inches. Simply string the pearls onto the cord. You can put tape on one end while stringing so pearls will not fall off while stringing.

You can do finishing of bracelets by three different ways, depending upon supplies available. If you have a three hole bead then just put the cord through both sides of bead and up through the top. Then tie overhand knots. If you don’t have bead with three holes then; just crisscross the cord within the end pearl and then pull it up and through another bead making a knot. If you are going to use this technique then choose a color of cord that complements or matches the gemstone. Third method is that at the end of bracelet just tie a small knot of two end and then slide one more pearl and then tie an overhand knot. For making overhand knot you can use an awl or a small gauge knitting needle. Try different finishes, to see which looks better.

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the horrible incident with photobucket, my image hosting website. This is the first time that I have exceeded my monthly bandwidth, which conveniently disables all my image links as a result and makes my shop into a pile of cyber goop which left me no choice but to put my shop 'Under Construction' for about half a week. For making a set of basic earrings, you will require 2 headpins or eye pins, 2 ear wires, and pearls of your choice; at the beginning you can have simple round pearls. For making these earrings there is no need of any complicated and expensive jewelry making tools. All you need is simple round nose pliers. You can use some spacer beads; these small beads are usually unnoticeable. Spacer beads are useful as spacing between pearls. Spacing is important for overall look of earrings. You can use seed beads, pony beads, stone beads or crystal beads. Instead of head pins, you can just bend the end of regular wire in a loop to make your own eye pins.

To begin with making pearl drop earrings take one headpin, these pins have flat heads on bottom. These are available in many different sizes and thicknesses. Choose the headpin as per size of beads. Put some pearls on headpin. Here you can try different combinations of pearls with different colors, shapes and sizes. A simple drop pearl earring can be made with 2 small pearls and 2 medium sized pearls. You can add spacer beads in between row pearls.

Once you have decided about the pattern of the earring, then using round nose pliers bend the head pin. After that just bend the headpin over to complete the loop. For finishing, you can add French wire or other earring finding and your simple pearl drop earrings are ready to wear.

To have some variation in design of the pearl drop earring you can add some other gemstone beads. You can even add several drops to one earring by attaching them to charm of simple structures made by wire.
