Discovering the First Lady’s Coveted Style

Our first lady, defying most traditional drab political wear, isn’t shy of prancing out in style! And we love it! So no wonder, just like any other super model, Michelle Obama made it onto Vanity Fair’s International Best-Dressed list (and this time even accompanied with her husband). She’s probably no bit shocked though. A gal with style like hers isn’t even new to the list either. This will be her third—no mistake at all—third time on the list.
Michelle Obama has turned the world of politics upside down. We’re no longer debating about the war in Iraq or how in the world we let Bush run a second term; now all it seems we can talk about is what Mrs. O is going to be wearing to her next event!
Though we can’t look into the future, we can observe patterns. One is the first lady’s love of classy pearl jewelry. Pearls have been becoming more and more common everywhere since her, and those who don’t don a pair of button pearl earrings from time to time or breakout their old wedding pearl jewelry are running to the store to keep up with times!
In fact her donning of pearls is so constant, when her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Washington D.C. was revealed; it too even had a double row pearl necklace! (photo above)
